Fast Money in MLM...Secrets
Do you want to know under what circumstances can a
Distributor make Fast Money in MLM?
I think I know. Please write to me if you beg to differ.
So often I come across people within the industry who like
to brag about how so and so make $20,000 per month within 6
months, drives a BMW after 12 months or pay off their
$30,000 credit card debt in 9 months etc.
From my personal experience and observation, there are only
3 groups of people who can do that...make fast money in MLM.
/////////////////////////////////////
Group 1: The Front-Loaders
/////////////////////////////////////
The people in this group practise what the industry called
heavy front-end loading. To become a "Business Builder"
in this company, you are required to buy up at least a few
thousand dollars worth of goods in order to qualify for the
higher over-riding commission. These are typically in the
range of between $1,000 to $20,000 worth of products.
The usual pitch goes like this, "What is $5,000 or $10,000
compare to $100,000 that you need to fork out for a
Franchise?"
OR
"In this wholesale business, the more you buy, the more
discount you get!"
The whole dynamics of a person changes when he/she parts
with his/her say $5,000 in exchange for the products. He/She
is now "motivated" to go out there and get as many people as
they can to part with the same amount of money if not more
in exchange for their excellent range of products.
Unfortunately, not everyone of these highly motivated
individuals are able to recoup their initial "investment"
and 2 things can happen.
One, the postive ones, those who have been "well" trained
will start to attribute their so-called failure to the usual
statistics of 9 out of 10 businesses fail in the first
year.
This mindset to me is the greatest deception in the
industry.
OR
Two, they will start to bad-mouth the industry and swear
never ever to be involved in MLM ever again!
Again, this to me is such a shame and I feel bad whenever I
hear these same stories.
But for those who does make it, over time, it's not hard to
figure out how these people can get paid $10,000-$40,000 for
a particular month after maybe 6-12 months worth of effort.
All you need is just 1, I repeat just one successful
distributor and the future crowds/prospects will be moved
and the cycles go on and on.
/////////////////////////////////////
Group 2: The Star Salesman
/////////////////////////////////////
They are usually called the heavy-hitters. They are
full-timers. They're the high-powered people with a
successful real estate, insurance or other sales background;
experienced entrepreneurs who've already built a number of
prosperous companies before.
These are the self-starting, go-getters. You can send them
naked to any MLM company and months later they'd drive out
in a company qualified Mercedes with a network of 1,000-plus
distributors and a six-figure monthly cheque.
And unless you're one of them - a sales super star right out
of the box- it's probably not going to work for you.
/////////////////////////////////////
Group 3: The Veterans
/////////////////////////////////////
Veterans have been in the industry for many many years, from
my personal understanding, minimum 10 years, they are have
been in and out of at least a dozen MLM companies.
These people believe the most and the longest in Network
Marketing, they also believe that as long as you do not give
up, nobody can ever fail in MLM.
It's obviously understandable that within a short span of 6
months to a year after joining a new MLM company, they can
build up a sizeable organisation and thus the huge monthly
cheques!
Their network and their leaders have been established
throughout the years, moving around is easy for them, they
will make money no matter where they go.
These are usually very driven individual, and often are
great leaders. They have over the years overcome the
setbacks of attrition, the ridicule of their friends and
loved ones, the disappointment of prospect not showing up,
the radical change in their company's compensation plan,
their company going bankrupt or getting sold, the challenges
of new and emerging competitions.
I can go on and on. They have basically gone through the
pits of the pits.
But there is this inner fire that is burning within them,
urging them to continuously hold on to their Dreams and
their Beliefs. They will relentless seek out new and better
ways of improving themselves and developing themselves.
More often than not, they are have also acquired great human
skills. They know how to connect with people; naturally,
honestly, effortlessly. They know how to build
Relationships; and develop their organization through
Leadership.
They know that in Network Marketing, the greatest inventory
is the people.

Conclusion and Learning
/////////////////////////////////////
I am not here to tell you what is right and what is wrong. I
just want you to see things in the right context.
You have to decide for yourself which group do you want to
be in. The causalty rates in Group 1 are not pretty and is
the very reason that gives the MLM industry a bad name.
And if you are not a Super Star Salesman, you would still
need to take the time to train yourself to become one.
But for the most of us out there, ordinary people armed with
no special talents, nothing but just strong desires to
succeed and a teachable spirit to learn, strive to be a
Veteran.
