Latest MLM Craze in Singapore, Sanitary pad!

I try to capture as much as I can about a particular new product that enters into the Singapore. MLM market. The latest I heard is a form of sanitary pad. Not too sure about the pricing or it's origin but a very successful businessman has this to say about MLM in general...

And I'm concerned about his sister's recent leap into a multi-level-marketing (MLM) program. I don't particularly like these programs, because I have found that they rely too heavily on turning friends and colleagues into customers. They encourage you to "start" with the people you know. What generally happens is that you run out of steam just after you have exhausted all your personal relationships. The MLM company has made some money from you, but you have only soured your friendships.

I have said this many times, don't rely on your friends to push your products, using the pretext of a meal to talk about an opportunity will irk many people off, even best of friends. Most companies capitalize on the new blood through front-end loading, ie pay huge amount of money for a bulk amount of product, and then encouraging them to sell these bulk products to friends and family members.

Most people are not trained to sell, and the truth is, you must know how to sell. So dont let anyone tell you MLM is all about sharing not selling. And this goes back to the reason why I said it's important to find a strong team who is able to develop you in this area.
